Cultivating Compassion: Doula Skills for Community Use

A free workshop with Francesca Arnoldy

November 8, 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Parker Ladd Community Room, Jeudevine Library, Hardwick

This 3 hour workshop is for caring friends, loved ones, community members, and providers seeking tools and methods to enhance their confidence for times of intensity, including serious illness, impending loss, grief, and major life transitions. Sharing from her experience as a community doula and hospice volunteer, Francesca will discuss how to embody a centered, calming presence as well as the importance of providing personalized support.

There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration at nekdeathcarecommunity.org is required. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided; those with food sensitivities or requirements should bring their own. After lunch, participants will have time to practice, and talk with one another about what they’ve learned.

This event will be held in the Parker Ladd Community Room of the Jeudevine Memorial Library, located at 93 N. Main Street in Hardwick. This is not a library-sponsored event.
